Direct Flights to Connect Zurich, Havana

With the purpose of positioning Cuba among the main tourist destinations
in the Caribbean, a new operation of the Swiss airline Edelweiss Air AG
will begin on May 8 to connect Zurich and Havana.

This direct flight (ZRH-HAV-ZRH) will operate once a week on Thursdays,
according to statements by the island’s Tourism Ministry.

Operations will be carried out in modern Air Bus A-330-300 aircrafts,
with a capacity for 300 passengers, which will favor the arrival of
travelers from Europe, reads the communiqué.

Joining their efforts for the success of this operation will be, along
with the Swiss airline, several entities of the tourism system, Swiss
tour operators and the embassy of that nation to Havana.
